Double Sided B&W Printing @ Home?

Earlier I was looking at a network scanner/printer/fax. But people seem
to think the scanner function is crap since the user would have to run
down to the scanner, run back up tot he PC and activate scanning.
So maybe I should just ditch that.

What about double sided printers that have a fax built in?
Is there such an animal? Are they pricey?
