Question about generic cartridges/CIS

I have my ol' trsuty epson 880 inkjet

I use the typical generic ink replacement cartridges but sometimes the
prints dont match the output of the print.

Where do I make the adjustments to tweak the color ? in the printer driver
options or in photoshop?

Properties\color management\
color profiles

and Google -use the " "
"color profiles" "epson 880"

PS - Ignore comments of the resident troll re. generic cartridges.
