Penryn is out!!!
Intel rolled out its first 45 nm processor today.. They lauched the QX9650 which has got a 3.0Ghz , 1333MHz FSB, 12Mb (6 MB per 2 cores) 24 way set associative L2 etc.. They are promising upto 45% improvement in performance and upto 20 % low power usage.. hope amd can catch up..
