I have seen 'AMD vs Intel' post and started to wonder which side you guys are..
Traditionally people are zealous of a perticular thing.. So my question is
Would U Prefer AMD or INTEL...

Amd's dominance was killed by Intel the day they created Intel Core Duo2.
2day Intel is topping the charts,so my vote goes for INTEL.

The AMD logo won't bring u speed, its the processor's efficiency which proves and presently AM3 has not released yet.So its Intel which we have as the fastest processor 2day.I do agree Intel has been losing the battle for the past few years, but 2day we can clearly see that INTEL is an oustanding WINNER.

1) Stop double posting to increase your post count. EDIT: He has deleted His X2 post! Thanx for that!

2)THe title says which would you prefer....so that's my opinion...

3)Its Core 2 Duo..

4) Sure, Intel is topping the Benchmarks...btw the C2D also has some shortcomings....do you even take the trouble of knowing how does the C2D work?

C2D boards, good boards are pretty expensive....

If you look behind, Intel has a very bad name. Intel set the ''Mega Hertz Myth'' ....

Ever since Vinod Dham left Intel....Intel was only chasing speed...

But on the contrary, AMD never even concentrated much on the Speed...aka ''Mega Hertz'' ....AMD always has worked to improve the whole architecture...so that max performance can be achieved with minimum clock speed and bus speed...

And that's the reason why all comp geeks opt for AMD....in general...

And the X6800 is toping the bechmarks....it costs $1000...now does everyone has that much money? :P

Sheesh! You are taking as if the word has come to an end!...

See who is winning the poll... .... ... ..

I started hating intel ever since they discontinued the Northwood and started the Prescott.....and you also own a Prescott...so you wht am I taking...

The Prescott is a dog of a core..

And do you still think Prescott 3GHz would outperform a Athlon64 2.7GHz?

Finally...Vinod Dahm Rocks! ....that may be the main reason why I like AMD..

1st of SAMRULEZ,
I suggest u do not interfere in my business. From my last 7posts I have been observing u have sumthing or the other 2write against any of my thread or reply. It's better u keep ur words out of my area.Whereas the posts r concerned,i had deleted my 2nd post even b4 ur reply so there was no use for u writing that.
U say Intel has a bad name in the past, sad but i see it is the past that INTEL had a big market share inspite of a bad name,Imagine now with
CORE 2 DUO.And as u said (X6800 is toping the bechmarks....it costs $1000...),we r not having a debate over cheap or costly processors,It is just processors which u like!!!

In that case, I wouldn't AMD or Intel , I would go for the Cell Processor... LOL

I think Samrulez ur taking undue advantages of ur account.I guess there is no point talking with u coz u wnt change ur opinion and take into consideration all nonsene things.

Presently its words which speak that INTEL is the winner over AMD in 2days date!!!

LOL .. I think this thread is about "What processor do you prefer" and not who has the fastest processor and convincing each other

Don't post such stuff

I would prefer a 80 core processor that Intel has been working on
