It is not edited and not fake>My C2D E6700 on torture for about 8 secs and check out the temps!!!!

A pic of your computer setup ?? btw -- tough to believe the processor survived 150C for 8sec. Normally they auto shutdown once it croses 90C to 100C

Whats u're config. ?? Its odd that Speedfan can't detect anything else ... btw .. how about a screenie from coretemp ?? Or Rivatuner maybe ??

To answer all your questions:

Firstly Baku....My E6700 metal cover lid has been popped off (Ultra Lapped)
And also no it did not shut down. But after 4 mins, the machine just BSOD and I couldn't even Force Shut down it, so I had to pull the mains power off.

Deathvirus_Me....My config is in my public profile....the motherboard has been forcifully unlocked and BIOS values have been entirely altered.......And also theres not much options because third party tools such Speedfan, Core Temp, OCCT, HWM can't properly read all the sensors on my motherboard..CoreTemp didn't even work, same as the others, only Speedfan....do note that when you open the pic and look at the bottom chart temperature drops...The first one has Ambient and Core...but the second one doesn't...this is because since my BIOS has been unlocked and modded...detected values and sensors keep on being detected and then it doesn't get detected and sometimes Speedfan just BSOD's when its trying to detect temperature values!

Strider: "WTF??"...Yess I know, I didn't even believe it myself sitting in front of the temps when the temps shot straight up in Speedfan...
And yes...still using the same Mobo, working perfectly fine now!

And lastly to P Hacker......LMFAO!!

How did you forcefully unlock it, and what setting are you using ? and post some pics of your rig with the liquid nitrogen cooler. And try RivaTuner, not those that you mention.

I didn't unlock it, you should ask my mate!!! And yes I was about to first post some pics but I don't have a camera of any sort=[. But it was the first thing that I wanted to do was post pics of the system along with temps....But unfortunately you'll have to wait for the next overclock..my friend

Uhmmmm...Rivatuner doesn't detect any other temperature values other then the Nvidia Core.......And Ambient....but the temps never rise for them..and no when I choose the selection to detect the CPU temps....a dialog box pops up saying that their is no support for the processor, Rivatuner will terminate now! And yes it is the latest Rivatuner 2.06.......but other then that.....theres nothing else to mention...lolz!

Yeh I noe...I use both 2.08 and 2.06....but 2.08 BSOD's my computer at will for some reason =[
