yeah .. presently DDR3 doesn't show a huge improvement over DDR2, especially if you compare price performance ratio DDR2 wins by a long margin. When we get DDR3 with even higher frequency and speeds and more bandwidth, then it could beat DDR2, and prices really need to come down too.
