New Processor Not Working at all

ugh second time now i've had this problem. I just received my new AMD Athlon x2 Black Edition 7750 2.7ghz. I have an Asus M2N-E SLI mobo. The processor is compatible with the mobo, I've checked on the asus website. But I install it and nothing happens. Everything runs in the tower, but the screen will remain black. One thing I notice is the fan does not spin, but twitches evey few seconds. I switch the voltage on my PSU from 120V to about 320V, not sure 100%, and the fan spins but nothing starts up, again.

Do I need to flash my bios for the processor?

have you checked your PSU or tried a different one ? Which psu do you currently use and it's ratings ?

Make sure you have put in the right cables at right slot. It happens if you are not expert in assembling..
