Re: Best config for a pc

Best config for a PC is

2xIntel QX9771 ($1900 each)
Intel Skulltrail Motherboard ($650-$700)
16GB FB Server ECC RAM ($700-1300)
3xnvida Geforce GTX295 graphics cards in TRI-SLi ($800 each)
2KW PSU (Not Sure Brand) ($540)
Good Case would be a CoolerMaster Cosmos X with side view window ($400)

Add on another $300 including cabling, cooling components etc and you there you have the best desktop configuration part hardcore server/part hardcore gaming system pc

Hope this helped...you can do some more individual search ups for the components but in Indian Currency. Its a lot of money I can tell you that for sure!

Re: Best config for a pc

Enthusiast/Medium to Heavy Use PC

Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 ($300-$350)
Gigabyte X48 Motherboard ($350)
2x2GB DDR2 1066 OCZ RAM ($140)
Nvidia Geforce GTX260 OC ($480-$550)
750watt Corsair PSU ($250)
Antec P190 Case ($180)

All this will be under $2000

You can get bit better by changing the CPU for a Quad Core Q6600 and overclock it to 3GHZ, these cheaps are very good at delivering more performance, and a bit cheaper then the E8600.

Also you can add in another $250 to change the graphics card to a Nvidia GTX285. More performance and you would be able to run at maxed out settings for any game on the market today.

All of this will be under $2000

If your not just a gamer, but also a Media Center user....add in $150 for a good TV Tuner Card and your all set to go for anything!

A future proof pc.
