hi guys need your help once again, im building my new computer in less than a month now and was just wondering is this motherboard any good for the price cause it fits my budget and im after your opinions please

Looks pretty decent; depends what the price actually is.

Keep in mind it will only go up to trifire/trisli, doubt that will matter though unless you're building a beast

thanks, not really building a beast but im hoping to play quite a few good games, maybe bf3 with the settings turned down

Not reslly had a proper look yet going to the shop on the 13th july, was thinking 10gb ram and a quad core i5 processor

Re: asus p8z77-v

I would strongly recommend using a power-of-two quantity of RAM, i.e. 4/8/16GB, that way it will run properly in dual/quad channel. For gaming/surfing etc. you won't need more than 8GB. Also don't forget the clockspeed and timing of the RAM is far more important than the quantity.

Thanks well ive got 2 4gb ram cards and 2 1gb cards so ill just putbthe 2 4gb cards in
