Which language is used for writing the virus program? Can we write in c,vb???

there is no hard and fast rule in writing malicious code. viruses are determined by the type of work/effect it has on the system, not on the language.

using vb you can write malicious scripts.

Earlier people used assembly and C language for writing virus like programs since it was easy to do low level (memory ineraction etc.) programming. Also, assembly language usually produces small sized files. But now this world is not 16 or 8 bit. We use GUI based Operating Systems and 'method of attacking' also different. Viruses spread in many ways. Based on the 'purpose' language is selected.

here is a basic virus programming in vb script which affect the internet explorer changing home page and the title of the explorer.It is saved in text format.don't use it for harming others.i've posted this for you to gain knowledge
