Batch File help

Hi, I don't know if this is supposed to even go under this catagory . Well, my question is in a batch file, say I want it to unpack a folder to a bunch of different folders, and lets not get into that coding for now =P. What I want to know is if I can make a delay in the code, like so something like this would happen...

@echo off
cls
echo .

and then it would say this...

cls
echo ..

and so on like it's loading. Please help. Thanks!

Re: Batch File help

You may use the read/remove/add options of regedit.exe to perform any operations you want.

i dont think batch files can EDIT the registry,
Editing means just adding a different data value to an already present registry value. You can use the reg add to both add and edit values and reg query to find.

For usage type:
Quote:
reg add /?
reg query /?
reg /?
