I also want to share a trick for centering layers.. so far it works w/ei and firefox.. haven't tested with any other browser yet.


Example of css code

.container {
margin-left:50%; This centers left margin of container always at 50% of page...the center
}

.centerLayer {
width:1024px;
margin-left:-512px; This # must always be half of total width of layer in line above
}

Code is

I have also been trying to simpliy this method ... as follows.. but still fine tuning it.

.centerLayer { (sorry but my computer is down so I can't check... but I may have mixed up left and margin-left... if it doesn't work as it is just switch those 2 around)
left:50%;
width:1024px;
margin-left:-512px;
}
