No idea what language this is.

On a side note, I despise posting bots and those that use them.

Re: What language is this in?

javascript, or maybe VBScript, I think.

As for running it, why on Earth would you want to. It's a bloody advert!

It's not JavaScript. I think it's something more basic that JavaScript.

Yes that script does contain something that looks similar to a JS object. But it's not correct. A JS object should be declared like this:

Code:
var obj = {
    member_one: "string",
    member_two: 5
};
And a timeout function in JavaScript is declared like so:

Code:
setTimeout(function() {
    alert("Execute me after 4 seconds");
}, 4000);
So it MIGHT be VBScript.

Re: What language is this in?

Well, if I was an even moderately modern programmer, I would probably know. I quit programming with the 8051 family in assembler and 'C'. All this new-fangled scripting and Object-Oriented stuff is too confusing. I like it simple.

C can be object oriented. But it's not enforced, same as C++.

It's just that C has a more basic form of objects (structs).

I like C. It just feels complete. I also like doing a bit of assembler practise every now and then. Generally NASM.

Sorry for answering a question over two years old, but since I'm just getting started on this forum I'm jumping in where I can

The code in the OP looks like iMacros for Firefox.
