Rocks 4.3 installation problem
Hello Users,
I am having a problem during install Rocks 4.4 on my cluster x86_64. I do very appreciate of your help. Here are step that I have done. 1. download iso files and burn to CDs @ http://www.rocksclusters.org/wordpress/?page_id=3 2. I follow the installation guide @ http://www.rocksclusters.org/rocks-d...stall-frontend... At the step # 16, I inserted "kernel Disk1" CD on, It was running for a while then it stopped. Here is the error meesges "An unhandled exception has occurred. This is most likely a bug ... Traceback (most recent call last): File "/var/tmp/amaconda-10.1.1.63//usr/lib/anaconda/gui.py, line 1074, in handleRenderCallback self.currentWindow.renderCallback() File "/tmp/updates/usr/lib/anaconda/progress_gui.py", line 249, in renderCallback self.inif.icw.nextClicked() File "/var/tmp/anaconda-10.1.1.63//usr/lib/anaconda/gui.py", line 789, in nextClicked self.dispatch.gotoNext() .... That link is from July 2006 but I didn't see any indication that the problem has been fixed. It suggests you don't use manual partitioning. You might want to see if the Anaconda project has a mailing list. |
