hey

i'm having a problem and i'd like to have some help plz

my friends and i are working on a project
and the project consist of a network that has everything integrated with each other. in other words we are using a software that is linked to a database center from the server. so anyone is going to update, change delete or edit the data we're going to be informed and see the change

but the real problem is everyone still is working on seperate projects using microsoft office excel, powerpoint & word. All these files and shared among us but still we can't see or detect the change sometimes.
i want a program or a way that shares these files among us in a way to see whats being updated + we do care for security among us and autorization.

Hmm.. It's a difficult thing, isn't it? You are actually referring to the version management systems used in corporate companies.

The best one I know is Microsoft Visual Source Safe (VSS).
