Do not have the permissions to install Mozilla Firefox Plugins

Hi,
The problem I am having is that i cannot install software because this is a work/school computer that is locked down pretty tight i just need to know if there is some other way of installing Macromedia Shockwave because i cant find the XPI anywhere? thank you
