Error installing Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007
Hey
When I try to install Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007, the installation continues untill about 3/4 of the way then an error comes up. It reads, "ERROR 1335. The Cabinet file 'EnterWW.CAB' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package" Any help will be appreciated, Regards. |

Re: Error installing Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007
How much free space is there in your Windows drive ? Clean and delete all temporary files using CCleaner or Disk Cleanup. Then try re-installing.
Also are you installing it in a non-English version of OS ? And is it from a CD/DVD or from a virtual drive ? Also have you checked the files, matched MD5 checksum with original file to see is EnterWW.cab is corrupt or not.

Yes there is over 100 GB of space available on my harddrive (total is 450 GB). I am installing it on an English version of Windows XP Professional. It's from a DVD drive. How do you check the files?

Clean and delete temporary files as I said using Disk Cleanup or CCleaner utility and then try re-installing. Are you installing from the original DVD ??

Re: Error installing Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007
Ok I'll try the cleanup. I don't think the DVD is the original though.
