Outlook 2007 AppHang Error

Two weeks ago was suddenly best with AppHang issues in Outlook 2007.

Several forums said "check com add-ins and disable 3rd party ones." okay - done, still hanging. This is seriously impacting my business - I'm self-employed and LIVE by email! I can't find answers on any forum, Microsoft support has no clue as to why this is happening. Please - help if possible.

Doest Outlook start and in the middle of some operation gives the AppHang issue or outlook doesn't start at all and hangs ?

Backup your PST file, then delete the present pst file and start Outlook and see if Outlook runs normally.
Outlook pst is stored in default location c:\users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook (note AppData is a hidden folder)
How to manage .pst files in Outlook 2007, in Outlook 2003, and in Outlook 2002

You can also try alternative email clients like Windows Live Mail Desktop or Thunderbird.

I have same error all time as I do any action. Like change modules (Mail-Calendar-Task-Contacts), fast scroll in big list or open data groupe sort. I need help too. Plz.

bakuryu, i`m migrate from pc to pc (WinXP,Win7) many times and generate pst. Effect don`t stop. (sorry for bad english).

Hi,

Try opening the outlook application in the safe mode (Click on start & Click on Run, Type ‘outlook /safe’ in the run command box) and check if it works okay, If Yes, Uncheck the Outlook Add-ins which are enabled.
