Setup cannot find excel.en-us\excelMUI.msi - Not able to install office 2007 ultimate
I am trying to install office 2007 and I keep getting the message setup cannot
find excel.en-us\excelMUI.msi and to browse to a valid installation source. I have copied all the files from the dvd to my hard drive, but still it is giving the same error. I have almost tried every possible thing but it just doesnt seem to work. I have installed teh same software on another computer and it installed fine. What do i need to change in my windows vista? |

Are you installing from an account with Administrator privileges ? Clean your temporary files using CCleaner and try installing again. Or temporarily disable UAC, reboot and try installing it.

How do you use Ccleaner or disable your UAC?

To disable the UAC, enter the Control Panel and type UAC in the search box.
The first result returned by the search will be User Accounts – Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off.  Click on it and the UAC window will open. Deselect the option Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer and press the OK button.  Windows Vista will ask you to restart your computer. After the restart, UAC will be disabled. |

I did that and instead of getting the excel message I got was "Setup cannot find Office.en-us\OfficeMUI.msi Browse to a valid instillation source, and then click ok."
