Restore VLC Player audio/video file associations (I installed Quicktime)

Hello,

I installed Quicktime, and it associated some of the VLC audio/video files with quicktime instead, how do I reverse this without uninstalling quicktime?

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
Douglas

You can change the file associations from Windows' folder options.

1. Open Windows Explorer : Start > My Computer

2. Then go to Tools > Folder Options > File Types

3. Scroll down to view your required file type, select it and click Change button. Choose VLC Player from the list. Make sure the Always use the selected program to open files of this kind checkbox is ticked. Click Ok. Repeat this for all the file types.
