Address Bar is being disabled in My Computer
I am using Microsoft Windows Xp XP2 in my PC. Some days ago I found that the address bar of My Computer is being deleted. When I am trying to re enable it through View->Toolbars then it is not enabling....
Please help me to re enable the address bar |

From View > Toolbars if you choose Address Bar what'll happen? In safe mode is it like that? Again if you create a new user and login as that user will it be there?

If I choose the opeion then nothing happens. The explorer remains as it is. Even in safe mode and other users...
I am sorry to say that this is not the alternative for the problem |

If you right click on the toolbar, is "address bar" checked? If it is, it's possible that it is there but squished into another toolbar. Try unchecking "Lock the Toolbars" and moving the toolbars around by using the handles and see if it appears.
