C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe message! Help! Cant open anything!!

Chef is right install Malwarebytes. Just in case you can't get it to update here is the link to the manual update file. http://mbam.malwarebytes.org/database/mbam-rules.exe

1. Put the Windows XP CD ROM disk in the CD ROM drive.
2. Click Start, and then click Run.
3. Type expand X:\i386\rundll32.ex_ c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe in the Open box, where X is the letter of your CD ROM Drive.
4. Restart the computer.

OR

Find a copy of rundll32.exe in folder c:\windows\system32\dllcache or in c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386.
If you find this, go ahead and copy rundll32.exe to the system folder c\windows\system32.

OR

rundll32.exe file download - Download / repair / restore corrupt or missing rundll32.exe file

Download the rundll32.exe from there and follow the steps on the page to install it.

Let me know if it worked.

On another note there is a program called VER or Virs Effect Remover that helps fix the damage done by a virus after it has been removed.

if its a exe file your mesed up dude i recomend format and installing ubuntu and get virtual box.
