Need help on how to troubleshoot an application that is not responding
I have a client who had a backup application issue. She told me that her application is not responding or nothing happen after she had created an account for her backup applications.
She also said that she had already contacted the remote software team to help her to check. While the remote software team had perform a software reinstallation. But then it still having the same problem. The software team had told her that it could be the software version that had caused it.
She also told me that her backup application version is 8. Then there's the latest version which is version 18.
Could anybody guide me how to troubleshoot this?
Could that be the software version issue?

It probably is the software. try to update to the latest version (v18) and see what happens, please let me know the outcome.
