Re: how do i delete a347bus.sys in dos on an HP
ok. UBCD works. how can i delete a347bus.sys because windows still wont load. i can run the dos, but when i type "Del C:\Windows\system32\a347bus.sys" it says file not found. "Del C:\Windows\a347bus.sys" is another thing i tried and "Del C:\Windows\system32\drivers\a347bus.sys". where else could the file be? Also, is there anyway i could start windows using UBCD? and the dos shows A:\> at the beginning of each line. what does that mean?

Re: How do i delete a347bus.sys in dos on an HP?
hmm .. are the drives in NTFS format ?
if they are in NTFS format then it would be better u get a linux Live CD, mount the NTFS partition and delete that file. otherwise, get u r XP CD, and perform a repair install. btw ... u have a branded pc, so why not ask their customer support to fix it up for u. Also they give some recovery CD's i think. Use them and perform a repair install. Last edited by bakuryu; 13-07-2007 at 02:29 PM. |
