New ATI drivers
AMD released new drivers for ATI cards. They changed the version number
to match the Microsoft Windows version. So it's now Catalyst 7.11 for Linux. Didn't try them yet, will do ASAP. Btw, ATI's Linux drivers team either consists of idiots or people living under a rock: "OpenSUSE 10.3 (tested with RC1)" So ATI doesn't know that openSUSE 10.3 is no longer in beta. Good job. |

Good job. Downloaded and tested. Same ATI-crap as always. Slow as hell, non-existent 2D acceleration with Super Tux reaching just 25FPS (my PC gets overtaken by the slowest and cheapest NVidia cards), launching X-Moto crashes the whole system. Thank you ATI, for the awesome quality of your crap. |

Just did that. I liked the part where I tell them that the *non-accelerated* VESA driver is faster in 2D than their poor excuse of a driver :P |
