need T-Mobile phone with port for external antenna
On my roof there's 4-bar connectivity; on the street 2-bar; and
in the house 0-bar. So I'm looking for a T-Mobile cell phone with a port/jack for an external antenna. Can anyone list a few candidate phones? Does anyone have a slightly used T-Mobile cell phone to sell -- with external antenna port of course? Thanks, Herb |

If so, check out the "hotspot-at-home" service. -- __________________________________________________ ___ Knowledge may be power, but communications is the key dannyb@panix.com [to foil spammers, my address has been double rot-13 encoded] |

Couldn't you fashion an antenna with coax form the roof to inside the house stripping the center wire at both ends and grounding the shield? I wonder if it would radiate enough to work with your phone. |

Older phones such as the Nokia 6340i or the Nokia 6310i have an antenna port on the back. You have to remove a small rubber plug to access the antenna port. |
