DAZ Productions is offerering a free download of Bryce 5 here: http://www.daz3d.com/program/bryce/bryce5free.php

Bryce is known for creating realistic 3D landscapes. You have to register though with DAZ to get a serial number though... But the offer ends September 6, 2006. So if you like creating realistic landscapes....

If your are looking for a good terrain generator, check out Terragen, I used it for some matte painting projects, it can generate really beautiful landscapes.

Already a big fan of Bryce .. using it since 2002 .. the rendering engine is awesome (infact is better than Terragen if u know how to use it) .. the material library is awesome (i mean AWESOME) ... oh man .. already been using v5 for quite some time .. i seriously wanna get my hands on v5.5 ..
