Very simple : I have a video which has an audio lag of around 3 secs with the video (the video plays, 3 secs pass then the audio plays....) Never had such a problem before.... Tried searching in google but when I search for stuff like "synchronize+audio+video" it takes me to softwares that extract audio from videos etc....

Suggest a software and if possible a tutorial too....

I just use Audio Time Shift (View -> options -> Internal Filters -> Audio Switcher) of Media Player Classic to fix sync problems.

Ok now you have to help me understand how that bloody thing works....

I played da file ; then I went to Audio Filters.... Initially I set a time shift of 1000 msecs (1 sec) and since it probably needs for the video to restart ; I stopped and replayed the video again.... No change....

Then I thought maybe I need to put negative time so I put in -1500 msecs, still.... No change....

A little help perhaps ???

Negative means if the audio is heard before the video and positive if audio is heard later.

You don't need to stop and play, just make sure you have first checked and enabled Time Shift, then put a value say 10000 or 20000, apply it, see the difference and then find the correct and accurate one by trial adn error method.

Ok last night tried it and a delay of +0.5 secs does it....

But this means everytime I wanna play a video in Classic it will have the same delay, rite ??? That sucks balls as I'd like to save this setting only for 1 file and for the rest maybe it'd work normally ???

just enable/disable audio time shift for the files having sync problems. normally 1 out of 50 movies that i watch has this problem, so it's not a big issue.
