Angry The great "Hewlett Packard" - No Vista drivers for certain HP Products!

Quote:
HP Products - HP Product Is Not Supported in Windows Vista

Introduction
We are sorry to inform you that there will be no Windows Vista printer driver available for your HP product. Therefore your product will not work with Windows Vista.

If you are using the Windows Vista operating system on your computer, please consider upgrading to a newer HP product that is supported on Windows Vista.

What is this? I can't belive my eyes! You...! I've spent a fortune on your scanners, printers and i've even completed your survays!!! And this is how you repay buying customers... You wwon't get drivers for Vista? Are you that lazy? Fine... THIS IS WAR!!! For this there will be hell to pay! I'm gonna put this text on every public place in this whole world! Whe... if i'm ever gonna say something to the world... it's gonna be
"DON'T BUY HP!!!"
I will never ever recomend HP products again! Not even once!
Well... if you don't want to pay Microsoft's WHQL signing price for your somewhat old products (not my case thought) then i'll just have to convince the world that your products are worthless! AND I WILL!

Guys... ban me if you want... call it racism... call it bad english... call it insanity... my God, "call it a day"... but i'm gonna SPAM!!! the world anyway!

Re: The great "Hewlett Packard" - No Vista drivers for HP Products!

This thread has a lot of mis information. It is said that certain products (not ALL) (perhaps due to the hardware itself) will not be supported in Vista !!

The Products that will not be supported are :

HP Color LaserJet 1500
HP Color LaserJet (Series 5)
HP Color 9850 mfp
HP LaserJet 2000 (1987)
HP LaserJet 3100 AiO
HP LaserJet 3150 AiO
HP LaserJet
HP LaserJet Plus
HP LaserJet 500 Plus
HP 9085 mfp

Why don't you try a refill? A cardrige costs around 50$ while the refill only costs 8$ (and contains 2 charges)... that means 4$/fill... still... getting your hands dirty once per month is not that bad, is it? I'm still using the cardrige that came with the printer (yea... the one that has only 15 ml of ink in it, opposed to a real cardrige which has 45ml!... another HP scam)
With a liitle bit of pacience, practice and... soap afterwards... you've got 46$ left for the ones you really love

I hope so... i don't want to dig Vista's registry in search of ways of disabling WHQL verification and stuff like that...

I've got a bigger list... unfortunately... and only new HP products are supported in Vista... it's rather sad...

Re: The great "Hewlett Packard" - No Vista drivers for certain HP Products!

There is a driver for several of the HP printers, naturally mine were not on the list. It's a universal driver.

I doubt I'll ever buy another HP, unless I find another .99 cent new Photojet on Ebay. I just got into Vista, and I knew they were having problems with it, but I had no idea no one supports it.

I'm going to switch to XP Pro 64 bit if I can find all the ACER drivers. Guess what ACER doesn't support?!?? XP. I can make it run fine, there are a few things like shortcut keys, and other ACER branded stuff.

I hate change when change is not needed, but I'll get left in the dust I don't keep up.
