Anybody Help me to increase internet download speed

Hi All,
can anybody help me out how to increase my download speed, as i am using Beam cable system with 96kbps connection & it is using DHCP client.

How much download speed do you get ? If it's around 12KBps then you are getting the max speed possible at your connection.
