is it possible to get last login IP of a mail account?

Hi Guys,

is there any method to find out the last login IP of a mail?
Because,someone hacked my friends gmail id and deleted all mails..
He doubts 3 guys..but is it possible to locate the last login ips?

is it possible to see the hackers location or any details?

contact gmail support and they may provide you the ip log.

However one can easily use a proxy network and hence knowing Ip won't be of any great use.

However ask your friend to look into the Archive section or Trash section. I have also heard that GMail keeps backup copies of your mails, and also that all mails are not deleted immediately, they are retained for a specific period of time. So if your friend can convince GMail support, they might be able to restore the entire thing back.

hacker cleared trash also

..I will ask my friend to contact gmail support...

And make sure he changes the password for a decent one !

I doubt that Gmail will release any IP information to.

GMail has added a new security feature that allows you to know the last 5 login IP's and all sessions currently signed in.
