crack a number generator??????

hi
if i have a a number generator that generates 14 number each generated nummber (14 number) is different than the other

can we crack the code and c how it generates the number

NB:i have a lot of numbers generated by this prog
can we use these numbers and analyse them and crack down how it works?

Attach the exe file/number generator.

You can always reverse engineer, decompile the exe and find how how it's done.

the file is needed since you want to know the actually algorithm behind genarating the numbers.

i dnt understand but is cheat engine helpfull?

i dunno if it will work for u or not but try to search for the number in 4 bytes and then right click on it and press "findout wht writes this value... it should take u to the source "
but i think i know wht u are up to.....u r trying to crack an encryption program...
well it is used in software serials....passwords.... even unknown data....
and sometimes it is impossible to do....
doing this means doing something BAD

Yeah, If you can provide the exe we should be able to reverse engineer it. But with just numbers it's almost impossible. You may need a super computer.

well now i'm lost.... i guess PH took his knowledge with him when he left...
i can only understand this
super computer = faster compile time
i still remmeber my father proud of his Pentium II when it came out... he said i can compile this program in 3 minutes...
it is so funny...how P II was so super

by the way isnt reverse eng. illegal if the exe is copy righted?
and i guess there is some encryption used when compiling a program to make it none decompiled...
anyways i hate everything called decompiling.... i find it everywhere...
found it when i tried to mod CS
macking NFS MW car using convert from burnout (completly impossible)
macking new RA2 tank skin..
everything abt editing games is decompiling

hey TCO...wats macking????? All those methods you described is similar to how I make no cd cracks for my games and removing the protections....any how I know this thread will be closed..so I better stay on topic and not go further with my world!

First the exe has to be copyrighted. Since you are not able to provide the exe file itself, we cannot verify what file it is. Also reverse engineering for personal purposes even if it's illegal is very difficult to trace or prove.

And you can always decompile it into assembly code -- decompilation doesn't mean always you will get back the original/near original source code that was used.
