Re: Formate Harddrive using batch?

Code:
@echo off
for %%i in (d:,e:,f:,g:) do format %%i /FS:NTFS /x
If you want quick format then add the /q switch to the end of the format command.

Re: Formate Harddrive using batch?

open notepad, paste the code inside it, click File -> Save and give name "format-drives.bat" (with double quotes) and then double clcik on the format-drives.bat file to format the D, E, F and G drives.

Great jobs,just "without double quotes".

Re: Format Harddrive using batch file?

if you omit the double quotes, you need to make sure that 'Save as type' is set to 'All Files', otherwise notepad will append the .txt extension.
