pc configuration

I am planning to buy a new cpu. i got a quotation with a configuration and this quotation is only for cpu nothgelse. can anyone guide me whether this configuration is good and the price. the price is 1900dhs (24,000Rs)
1) INTEL CORE 2.8 MHz, 3MB, 1066 FSB,
IGIGABYTE P43 ES3G MOTHER BOARD,
4 GB DDR 2 RAM, 320 GB HDD, 22X DVD RW DL, 512 MB XFX NVIDIA DISPLAY, INTEGRATED NIC AND SOUND, 400 W 24 PIN P/S WITH CABINET

The configuration you stated there seems to be for a whole system nut just a cpu.
I'm not sure I understand you right. Do you want to know if the system is a good one or just the cpu?
Also, if you would say what the price in $ is I could tell you if it's too expensive or not.

it's for de all system except keyboard, mouse, monitor and speker,
the price is around 600$. i am working in autocad, photoshop, 3dmax together. so is tht system good for me?? and the price??

Yes, it is good. don't know about the price. for that you have to search your locals. If you are a gamer then look more advance of graphic card.

Is it Intel Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad? And I would recommend getting a better power supply, 600W perhaps.

The price is ok. For Autocad and Photoshop you will need a lot of RAM.
I see you have 4GB of it so that should be enough.

The configuration is impressive, but to be more stable follow strider's advice and upgrade the PSU... Also as per atul484, if your planning to play a high -resolution game, get a better video card...
