run FPT server on your computer. Easy to install and easy to maintain. With FTP you can select what folders you want to share, and the other person can download it from Internet Explorer or Firefox browser.Good article about setting up FTP is found here:http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.c...cleID=1491Here are links to free FTP servers:1) http://www.cerberusftp.com/2) http://www.sofotex.com/download/FTP_...p_Servers/hope that helps

Try using AIM or ICQ which typically allows for certain directory to be viewable by your buddies.Don't forget to zip up the files first.

Re: How to share files around 400 - 500 Mb without...
If u are going to send it to only one person then u can choose p2p, or set up an ftp server.
If it's going to be distributed, either upload them to sites like rapidshare (split the large files into 100MB pieces) or use P2P. P2P is free. Assuming u are sharing legal things ![]() first for p2p u need to have a tracker. thepiratebay.org is a free tracker. After u register (free) then click Uplaod, they give u a tracker url. For thepiratebay.org it is : http://tpb.tracker.thepiratebay.org/announce Different sites have different racker urls. Note down the url. Then Keep all u r files in a directory. U can use uTorrent, File -> Create New Torrent, click Add Directory, under tracker url paste that url. give relevant comment and then click "Create and save as" after u save that .torrent file, upload that file to the site. Then u have got to download that torrent from the site. After u download the file, open it using uTorrent. When the saved location is asked, browse and choose the original folder from where u created torrent file. If u have done it correctly, u should see the torrent status as "seeding"
