Re: Vista Vs XP???

Ok I am answering [ pain in the heart but stil I'll,jiddi hun isliaye] people are buying Vista as soon in 08 or 14 the XP will be discontinued I had seen the ultimate edition in MS center here at Dehradun and what word come out from my mouth What the heck MS is doing?? Thanks to my friend he saved me else I would got good beating from MS officers .... Personally speaking people will be forced to buy Vista due to DX 10 and alll ... I am waiting to see more games and software support in LInux and OSX... Still if are going to buy an OS tomorrow the Vista for future upgrade and hole in a pocket. But for your purpose Linux or 98 wuld be better ... While spending in XP now willl be a mistake as soon support will be discontinued.. Haann if u want Vista dealers near me are selling the ****** ver. of it @ 250 + a key *** ......... And that's working fine my friend bought it but I don't wanna do my hands messy

Re: Vista Vs XP???

If you can afford it (250$ for the OEM version of Ultimate is not that bad), and have enough RAM to support it, there's rather few arguments you can actually use against upgrading. Vista is better in every aspect compared to XP. There's the issues with mediocre drivers for the graphic cards if you are into gaming, but if you are computer savvy you shouldn't have any problem locating drivers that outmatch the xp drivers. In general, if you are skilled with the computer there's pretty much no serious compabillity issues in Windows Vista that cannot be solved.

Bottom line is though, if you're going to spend the money upgrading to vista later anyway, go for it now. If not for the cool new features, at least for the great new looks!

Re: Vista Vs XP???

microsoft is working on sp3 for xp they have made one but it was available to download for only 14 days than they remove it, for some faults i just found a preview in softpedia ,well vista is for business right now (for me) and talking about dx10 why do i need dx10 in vista whr almost softs r not working (work only in XP) so for now i'll vote for XP.and vista here in saudi arabia is about 200$ home edition
