I recently installed the k-lite mega codec pack after uninstallin the previous codecs.I just want to know whether the divx codec in the k-lite pack is the same as the official divx codec which we get with the divx installer?
Is there any difference in the encoding n decoding(qulaity/speed) between these codecs?The same for xvid?

which version of K-Lite did you install ?? see the changelog. The version of each codec is mentioned their.

I installed the recent codec pack frm didit cd.But what i mean is that is there a difference between the same versions of codecs offered by divx official n klite codec pack?Does both offer same ncod n decod capab?ie..if i encode in divx converter(along with divx installer) n if i ncod usin the codec provided with klite wil there b any diff?
