Re: De-register a BT Diverse 3000 handset - but base station doesn't work

D'uh! The user guide says that handsets can only be de-registered from the base station that they are locked onto at the time - which seems to make you correct and that you do need the old base station. However, a handset can be registered to more than one base station. It seems to me therefore that you can just register it to your father's base station, identifying his base station as number 2 to the handset (number 1 being the dead one). User guide is at: -- Bob |
