It is not necessary to de-register the BT Diverse 3000 handset. It is
possible to overwrite the old registration with the new one ;-)
Simple follow the instructions in the user guide on page 43 with the
following modification:
- don't press the [OK] button after entering the base station PIN on the
handset.
- first press the PAGE button on the base station for about 10 seconds
until you hear the tone.
- now press the [OK] button on the Handset
Now the registration procedure should continue as described in the user
guide.
