CLI problem

Can anyone help please?

We have a number of BT Diverse cordless handsets - fed via one base
station - and a stand-alone BT Caller Display 50. For years, when incoming
calls are received, the calling number has been displayed on both the
handsets and the caller display unit.

Recently however, the handsets have stopped showing the number (replacing it
with a moving chevron display) but the caller display unit still works
correctly as before.

The only thing that has changed - as far as I know - is that about a month
ago our line was affected by an exchange fault which resulted in the line
card/unit being changed.

Can anyone suggest what might be causing the problem please? Any suggestions
for a remedy?

Thanks,

V

My caller id stopped working when I installed ADSL with the ISP-supplied
filters. A better filter from ADSL Nation restored it.

Thanks Joe.

Interestingly I have changed ISP recently (forgot about that) but I am still
using the same filter as before - and, in any case, the CLI data is still
reaching the CD50 unit (same filter feeds both CD50 and cordless base
station).
