Unwanted flight ticket to 3GSM Barcelona

I have had to cancel my registration to 3GSM. That leaves me with an
unwanted flight ticket. I booked early, so got a return Stansted -
Barcelona on Easyjet for £79.98. I'm happy to let anyone have it for
that (plus the additional costs described in the next paragraph) if
they can use it - you'll pay much more if you try to book now (IF you
can find a seat).

There will also be the increase in APD to pay (£5 each way) and £17.50
for the name change.

Just what has this got to do with telephonic communications I ask .

I can see it being of interest to readers of u.t.mobile (and if you
cannot, then best check Wikipedia for "GSM") but would ask that
items not be cross-posted to u.t unless related to landlines.

Well other people have dual interest in both landline and GSM so it's not
really the end of the world if the chap posts his spare ticket here.
When you consider the real non relevant junk we get from time to time it is
hardly the end of the world.

Oh for the love of God.

The guy has made a quite generous offer of free aeroplane tickets to a
destination hosting an event which is of direct interest to those
interested in telecoms. Admittedly, in this case mobile telecoms.

Wind your neck in.

Not free - he wants what he paid or it - the value of almost everything is
cheaper secondhand - except not in this case.

Do you not think that the days of fixed and mobile silos are over?
Keep them separate here, by all means, but there are plenty of 'fixed
wire' people who go to 3GSM.

I 'd prefer not to go as far as free, but I'd rather see them used
than wasted.

The reason I posted these was that I left it late to book myself two
years ago (when the show was in Cannes) and had the choice of an air
fare of over £800 (with two changes) or the train. I got the train,
but had to sit on a tip-up seat from Lille to Nice. Not good. I may be
able to spare someone a similar experience.
