Any idea what BT charges to install a NTE5a?
We've recently moved into a new house and the 'master socket'
is a Block Terminal, model 52A according to http://www.britishtelephones.com/bterm.htm. I'd like to get it replaced with a modern NTE5A and ADSL face plate so I don't have to have ASDL filters all over the house. TIA! Guy |

The BT call out fee is around £50 plus a charge for the time. Give them a call. They may change it for free if you are lucky. Peter Crosland |

Give him a brew and some choccie biccies and you may also get the ADSL faceplate )JellyBelly |

There appears to be a standard charge for this - see last item in <http://www.serviceview.bt.com/list/p...es_boo/0002_d0 e63.htm#0002-d0e63> -- Bob Evans |
