I did not want to disturb my partner, who is a keen astronomer and
sleeps much of the day. He is currently writing a book which has an
imminent deadline.

Aha, I see. I may be wrong but I'm sure that there is either a real human on
duty 24hrs a day or at least a voicemail for you to leave a message so you
could do it after "normal" business hours.

Hope you find a satisfactory solution soon )

Thanks. I'll wait till the book's on the way to the publishers before
taking matters further.

The problem with voicemail is that the staff might ring back when D's
asleep. Anyway, I really wanted to mail them that picture. There ought
to be a mechanism to allow this; I can do it with my Council, after all.
