How can I Tell BT...
.... that the box housing the phone wiring to my house, and to my elderly
next-door neighbour is lidless and exposed to the elements? The phone works fine, as does my broadband, so I doubt a significant fault would be found on line testing. I don't want to spend hours on the phone waiting, speaking to a clueless droid or going through a list of futile electronic options. I just want to send them a email, with a picture attached. There is no urgency; the box has been like this for at least 18 months... -- Helen D. Vecht: Edgware. |

I may be wrong but I don't think you can send them an email with photo. Most people report things such as broken manhole lids, open cabinets etc., etc., by phone to 150. John |

It is silly IMO that I can't email them. -- Helen D. Vecht: Edgware. |

Actually if you do go the 151 route & wait a bit after the first selections are offered there is a option to report BT line plant where you will talk to someone not overseas. The last few times I have used I've found it to be quite quick & painless, unlike trying to report a line fault.... |

Exposed spaghetti is getting more corroded & eventually will fail. 24 hour responce to faulty line plant & over 7 days for a line fault I know which way I would jump... |
