Old BT pager - was 07963 xxxxxx - now?

Found my old BT pager in the drawer.

The number years ago was 07963 xxxxxx but I just tried that and it was
'engaged'.

Has the prefix changed?

Thanks,

Fred.

Don't know how old yours is, but BT closed its paging service down
around 3 years ago IIRC. Companies I know switched to Vodafone paging.
The old BT pagers are now useless, although I believe you got charged
£80 if you didn't return them at the time.

The prefix changed to my BT pager. I think it beccame 07626 ******

Then O2 (who took over paging services from BT) discontinued pager
services at the beginning of last year, buggrit.

I doubt that there's anything you can usefully do with your pager.

07963 is a Virgin Mobile (T-Mobile) number.

Pager numbers usually start with 076 , mins is 07623
