BT Together option 1 plus "Talk Talk"

I have to confess that I have not paid much interest to my landline
arrangements for some time. I've just noticed that I have BT Together
option 1 together with Talk Talk as my call provider. From my cursory
understanding this doesn't seem very sensibe. It looks like BT is
providing me with virtually free evening and weekend landline calls.
But with my current set up I guess I never get the advantage of that
because I actually end up paying Talk Talk per minute when I make
those calls?

Is this right? Should I just ditch Talk Talk? I'd be more than happy
to do so just because they have a stupid name. Sorry for the basic
question.

Cheers!

Martin

Martin, if you are looking to make unlimited landline calls for a low monthly fee you should consider switching to Vonage. All you need is a broadband connection and your normal home phone. You can find out more at www.vonage.co.uk
