Seems a great waste of money.

My backup dialup is Orange formerly Wanadoo formerly Freeserve No Ties.

Webmail and mailbox are unrestricted and only a 90 day dialup is needed
(and a procedure is provided for recovery after up to 270 days).

I second the suggestion to register with and use Gmail for mail instead
of or in addition and also suggest the local public library facilities
should be checked.

The more methods available the better.

Hi
How would they make money from me using it via talktalk (free local
calls)?
I have TT BB, but as a backup it maybe worth having. probably don't
need backup -just nosey.

Just because you are not paying TalkTalk to make the call, it doesn't
mean that TalkTalk are not paying someone to terminate the call. Don't
confuse retail and wholesale charging.
