In Windows XP, how can I speed up my LAN browsing?
To speed up the browsing of your local LAN try this: 1.Open the registry editor. 2.Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\RemoteComputer\NameSpace 3.Export this key (in order to back it up, just in case) and then delete the key called {D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF} (Task Scheduler). 4.Close the registry.
