Do restarts count?
Otherwise...about 6 years...

Re: How Long Your Computer Was On

Yeah restarts count because they restart the session. The uptime is essentially the length of the session, when you sleep/hibernate the computer the session is paused and resumed, rather than ended and started again.

I've always wondered though, is there a way to check total uptime, i.e. adding the uptimes of every session since installation together?

Re: How Long Your Computer Was On

Some searching on the interwebs yielded a piece of software called WinAudit, which had me all excited for a minute, until I realised the "total uptime" it gives you is actually just the total time since Windows was installed, up, down, sideways, whatever. So that was a waste of time, sigh.

You can, however, get a rough estimate for the total uptime of every OS you ever installed on your C:\ drive by checking "Powered On Hours" in the S.M.A.R.T. statistics. My preferred software for this is Piriform's Speccy.
