How to Save Streaming Audio/Video Files in internet Temp Folder

Hi all,
Good Morning,

I have Windows2000 OS installed on my PC,i surf on the net daily..many time listen to online audio/see video basically streaming,these files after completely sedding get stored in Temp folder/or in their relevant application temp folder Eg- Quick time.But what the problem is once i close the internet explorer there files in Temp folder get deleted,if some how i can save these files, i can use them later since i have spent time and badwidth for them to get downloaded.

Do any one know whats the trick to save files from automatically getting deleted.may be any registry setting to be modified?.

if you want to Save these files, then copy them without disconnecting Net connection

Re: Reg-Files in internet Temp Folder

You can do it easily. If you try to save them from the temp it may show an access denied message. So do the following steps..

1. Get a small tool called Unlocker & install it.

2. Now right click on the file in the Temp folder & choose Unlocker.

3. In the Unlocker window look at the bottom left corner to see a dropdown. Choose Copy & save the file.

on mac you can try Macvide Audio Recorder
